War Vets Recreation Kitchen & Pool– Located on Fluvanna Avenue in Jamestown, the War Vets club was founded in 1947. It is a mid-sized sports and recreation club for member veterans and their friends to enjoy. Situated on the east side of Chautauqua Lake, the War Vets “castle” is a welcome place to honor our brave warriors over a beverage and a plate.

GREATER JAMESTOWN RIVERWALK - Traveling parallel to the Chadakoin River, the Greater Jamestown Riverwalk starts at the JAMA Riverwalk Medical Center off Main Street and loops around the river, bypassing the Gateway Train Station, Panzarella Park, Steele Street, and up to McCrea Point Boat Landing on Jones & Gifford Avenue. The riverwalk is approximately 5 miles long, and is available for walking, bicycling, inline skating, and even fishing.

National Comedy Center - Since it’s opening in 2018, visitors have been entertained and educated about comedy’s history through the unique collection, interactive technology, and exhibits spanning decades. Highly rated by travel and national media sources, this is a 10 out of 10, must see!

Chautauqua Lake Rowing Association– Since 2005, this not-for-profit organization has been dedicated to returning Chautauqua Lake to its rowing glory. Whether its competitive rowing or recreational, there is a package for everyone who wants to get out on the lake and try their hand at the sport. They are located at 18 Jones & Gifford Avenue in Jamestown.
